Event overview:
Celebrate Earth Day by joining Nature at McMaster for a pre-Earth Day hike through Cootes Paradise, and learn more about Hamilton’s native ecology! We will begin at the Ravine Road Trail, and continue to Sassafras Point for a beautiful view of the Cootes Paradise marsh! We hope to see you there!
Meet at the entrance to the Ravine Road Trail, located behind Les Prince Hall near the Altitude tower, at 12:00pm, on April 21st. Please note that while the hike does continue until 1:30pm, there will be an option to leave the hike early at 1:00pm for those that need it.

What to bring/wear:
-Comfortable, closed-toe, durable shoes
-Long pants and long socks
-Ensure you wear clothing and shoes that you will not mind getting dirty
-Water bottles
-Bug spray

We may choose to take photos/record videos of the event for records purposes. Individuals will be informed and can consent or not consent. Non-consenting individuals will not be photographed. Some content may be used for social media, which will also be made known at the beginning of the event.
